Electronic Pre-Press

This was my Fall 2012 course. I learned A LOT that will help me at work with the printing projects that I do.

Here are my projects:

Poster: Create a poster, in three variations. My son Morgan and I had recently made a trip to Orlando for a Star Trek Convention, so I used a photo I took of a couple of costumed girls, and incorporated some nerdy ideas. I thought they turned out well, considering my limited artistic skills.

1) full CMYK color Poster 1

2) Duotone Poster 2

3) full CMYK and one PMS spot color Poster 3.

Postcards: Create two sizes with two designs, using CMYK, duotone, and two PMS spot colors. It was high time I included a cat in a project, so I used my new kitten Molly and invented my dream business!

1) full CMYK color Proj3_EX1_Fnl

2) duotone Proj3_EX2_Fnl

3) duotone and one PMS spot color Proj3_EX3_Fnl

4 full CMYK color and one PMS spot color Proj3_EX4_Fnl

Booklet: Create a 12 (or more) page booklet. Take three sheets of paper and fold in half, creating 12 pages. This was fun, as I got to use my InDesign skills. I decided to write a cookbook highlighting New Mexico recipes – Red or Green? which is the state question. lol

Here is the front cover, inside front cover, inside back cover, and back cover: Booklet_Cover and here is the inside text: Booklet_Inside.
